How Merchant Couriers collects, uses and protects your personal information when you book, pay for and track a delivery with us.

We collect the information we need to make a delivery happen — your name, phone number and email address, collection and delivery addresses, parcel details, and the payment information required to process your order. We also record delivery events such as pickup, transit scans and proof of delivery.
We use your information to process bookings, allocate a driver, provide live tracking, take payment, issue receipts and invoices, and communicate with you about your deliveries and your account. We may also use it to improve our service and to meet our legal and tax obligations in Zimbabwe.
We share only what is necessary to complete your delivery. That means passing collection and delivery details to the assigned driver, and passing payment details to our payment providers. We may disclose information where we are required to by law. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
Account and payment data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access is limited to staff who need it. We keep delivery and billing records for as long as required for accounting, tax and dispute-resolution purposes, and delete or anonymise them after that.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you at any time. You can also ask us to stop sending marketing messages. Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Our website uses cookies to keep you signed in, remember your booking preferences and understand how the site is used. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some parts of the booking and tracking experience may stop working.
