1
Using our service
By booking a delivery with Merchant Couriers you agree to provide accurate pickup and drop-off details and to ensure items are legal and safe to transport. You are responsible for packaging goods adequately for transit.
2
Pricing & payment
Prices are quoted at booking based on distance, weight and service level. Payment is due on booking unless you hold an approved corporate account with agreed settlement terms.
3
Prohibited items
Illegal, hazardous, perishable-without-notice and restricted goods may not be shipped. We may refuse, hold or return such items, and any costs incurred are payable by the sender.
4
Liability & insurance
Our liability is limited unless insurance is purchased on the declared value at booking. Claims must be reported within the stated window with supporting documentation.
5
Delivery windows
Estimated timeframes are indicative, not guaranteed. Weather, road conditions, customs checks and incorrect addresses may affect delivery and are outside our reasonable control.
6
Cancellations & refunds
Bookings cancelled before a driver is dispatched are refunded in full. Once collection is under way, a partial charge may apply to cover the trip already made.
7
Data & privacy
We collect only the information needed to quote, collect, deliver and support your shipment. Contact details are shared with the assigned driver for the purpose of completing your delivery.
